Program
Infant Care
Our Infant Curriculum focuses on six main activities: Sensory, Language/ Dramatic Play, Manipulative, Building, Large muscle, and Music activities.
Toddler Care
Our Toddler Curriculum is divided the same way as the Infant Curriculum with the six main areas of activities: Sensory, Language/Dramatic Play, Manipulative, Building Large muscle, and Music activities. In our Toddler Program we introduce new skills and practice previously learned ones. The experience which we plan for your Toddler is developmentally appropriate and focuses on exploration as the key to learning.
Preschool
At Washington Kid Care & Learning Center our pre-school program offers a well-rounded, developmentally appropriate curriculum to meet your child’s needs. Our program “Learning: Center Stage” follows the NJ State Department of Education Preschool Teaching and Learning Expectations: Standards of Quality guidelines for good practice.
Before/After School and Extended Care
Washington Kid Care provides a special program for school-age children. The Before and After School Program provides a safe, well structured and challenging environment for the school-age children. We recognize the growing physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs of school-age children and offer fun before and after school programs. Children at this age are eager to form social connections, so our carefully constructed curriculum weaves multiple objectives into everyday activities that develop self-awareness, relationship skills, social awareness, self-management and responsible decision-making
